I've got it! I think this will solve a lot of problems and save some serious coin. I don't know the percentages but I would imagine that a large portion of every dollar I send to the federal government goes into a deep, dark hole never to be seen again. My proposal will help us avoid the black hole I call the federal government.
This is a simplified version of the money trail as it works now:
1. Money is stolen...I mean taken from my paycheck by the government
2. The government magically makes half of the money disappear.
3. The government sends the remaining amount to Elmer Fudd.
4. Elmer Fudd spends it on beer, cigarettes, candy, pornography and cell phones...you know, the essentials.
The Banks method:
1. Government sends me the phone number and address of Elmer Fudd.
2. I send Elmer the amount he would have received from the Government and he can buy his essentials.
We cut out two steps by allowing me to send my money directly to Elmer Fudd and I get to keep the money that would have ended up in the black hole.
Always remember, it is my obligation and privilege to buy beer for those who choose not to buy it for themselves.
